Record-Breaking Growth Establishes ESRW as State’s Largest Republican Women’s Organization
Fairhope, AL (January 9, 2025) — The Eastern Shore Republican Women (ESRW) has achieved an unprecedented milestone, securing the #1 membership ranking among Alabama Republican women’s organizations. With an extraordinary surge of 195 new members in 2024, ESRW has strengthened its position as a leading conservative organization in Alabama.
“This historic achievement reflects the rising tide of conservative women seeking to make meaningful change in their communities,” said Judy Barlow, ESRW President. “Our unprecedented growth demonstrates that Eastern Shore Republican Women has become a vital force not just in Alabama, but on the national stage.”
ESRW’s membership growth was accompanied by several key organizational developments and community initiatives:
- Added evening meeting options alongside monthly luncheons to increase member participation and accessibility
- Partnered with the Baldwin County Veterans Treatment Court and American Legion Post 199 to support local veterans and their families
- Sent six delegates to the Republican National Convention, including two primary and four alternates
- Conducted campaign training through the Leadership Institute to develop grassroots organizing and voter outreach skills
- Hosted speakers from state and local government to discuss current policy issues
Building on this momentum, ESRW is positioned to expand its influence further in 2025. “Our unprecedented growth reflects a larger movement of conservative women stepping forward to shape the future of our nation,” noted Barlow. “We’re not just growing in numbers – we’re growing in impact, influence, and our ability to effect positive change.”
